During my last two years of college, nearly every moment not spent in class was spent watching The Food Network and attempting a host of delectable creations that I had no trouble getting my friends to remove from my single apartment. Giada quickly became one of my favorite chefs, with a wide range of recipes from healthy snacks to desserts. Her vanilla cupcake recipe inspired me to make these, topped with my own almond buttercream. They were a hit! But since I don’t usually like to do the same thing twice (unless upon request of course), I think the next batch will incorporate the French lavender I got from Williams-Sonoma (my all-time favorite store!) Should be fun!
