Remember back when I told you I hated yogurt and the only way I’d eat it was in milkshake form? Well you (and my husband) will be pleased to know that I’ve since upgraded to smoothies! *pats self on back* Yes, these are a much healthier way to actually reap the benefits of Greek yogurt while still actually enjoying it. Bonus points for all the nutrients I get from pineapple and mango (I looooooove mango!) Yay me!
Bring on summer with this pineapple mango smoothie! It’s a breeze to whip up- just throw it in the blender (we love our Ninja!) with almond milk- I used unsweetened, coconut flavor- and my new friend Greek yogurt. You could even add a scoop of whey protein for an extra boost. This is how I bring the beach to me here in the good old DMV! What’s your favorite fruit blend?
- ½ cup plain, non-fat Greek yogurt
- ½ cup unsweetened coconut almond milk
- 1 cup fresh pineapple, peeled and cut into chunks
- 1 fresh mango, peeled, seeded, and sliced
- Combine all ingredients in a blender or food processor and blend to desired consistency.
