A warm, spicy chai blend that's packed full of fall flavor. Perfect for drinks, cakes, breads, cookies and muffins throughout the cooler months.

Ingredients
  • 2 tsp green cardamom pods
  • 1½ tsp allspice
  • 2 tsp cloves
  • 4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp anise seed
  • 2 tbsp roasted ground ginger
Instructions
  1. Toast whole spices (if using) in a dry skillet over medium heat until fragrant. Allow to cool slightly then grind to a fine powder using a spice or coffee grinder. Ours is Krups and we LOVE it!
  2. Whisk all ground spices together (you may want to sift using a small, fine mesh strainer to ensure any big pieces from freshly ground spices are removed). Store in an airtight jar or spice container in a cool, dry place.
