Turn fresh raspberries into a delightful raspberry sauce perfect for drizzling over desserts or a flavorful cake filling.

Ingredients
  • 1 half-pint package fresh raspberries
  • ½ cup all-natural cane sugar
  • ¼ cup water
  • 1 cup (12 ounces) all-natural seedless raspberry jam (with fruit juice)
Instructions
  1. Add the raspberries, sugar and water to a small saucepan and bring the mixture to a boil. Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and simmer for 4-5 minutes.
  2. Strain the cooked raspberries over a large bowl and pour the strainer contents into the bowl of a food processor with the jam. Reserve the liquid for another use or discard. Process until smooth and chill until ready to use.
Notes
Only strain the cooked raspberries if you want to use this as a cake filling. To make a drizzle-able sauce, retain the liquid and proceed with the instructions.
